Zakopane’s Morning! In the backdrop we have the Giewont Mountain, which is often associated as Zakopane’s landmark. It’s silhouette resembles a man lying down. Local legend holds that the mountain is a sleeping prince who will awaken and defend the town of Zakopane if it is in danger.
